Born and raised in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Yannie began playing professionally in bars and restaurants at the age of 14. Playing with nearly every local musician for the years to follow, Yannie cut his teeth in the local music scene, eventually joining hometown band, Cranford Hollow in 2015 and proceeding to tour the country headlining and sharing the stage with artists such as Charlie Daniels, Shooter Jennings, Blues Traveller, and The Marcus King Band. In 2017, Yannie took the role as lead guitar player and mandolinist for Grammy winning singer/songwriter Angie Aparo, with whom he still tours.

In 2019, Yannie collaborated on a release with friend/bandmate Bobby Lee Magyarosi, entitled "The Winds Of Change EP". It is available on all platforms on which you find music.

Yannie currently resides in Nashville, TN where he performs locally with various artists as well as doing session work.
